Thinking Ahead To 2007

Are you thinking about your online marketing plans for 2007?  If not, you should be.  For many companies, we are entering the time of year when next year’s budgets are determined.  This is a perfect time to review what has worked and what hasn’t and to set objectives and goals for 2007.

No matter how big or small your budget is, you should still be setting objectives and goals, generating strategies on how to achieve them, and make sure you have the infrastructure in place to measure them.  Verify that your objectives can be tied to specific company goals – if they can’t, you need to seriously re-evaluate why you are spending resources on it.

When you get a chance, check-out the real estate site Zillow.com.  One of the neatest features of the site is an interactive interface that easily lets you see the property values of houses in an area (e.g. your neighborhood).  The website uses web 2.0 technology that truly makes the experience more compelling for the visitor.
